Day 18 of October and already 29 movies (and 1 season of The Walking Dead) completed. Current list of movies – http://www.imdb.com/list/zSJwpfZxkMI/
I stopped tweeting movies recently as I sort just forgot. Will be getting back on the #HHMM13 train though after this weekend, in which I need to take a brief hiatus from my watching.
Below are links to my watching history from the previous years of my Halloween Horror Movie Month. These are all public on imdb.com and any movie comments are from the site and not my own.
http://www.imdb.com/list/zxDwG2_kgzM/ – Prequel (2008)
-Not as good of a job as documenting my watching back then, most of this is what I could recover from Netflix.
http://www.imdb.com/list/3TYx0bmwDN4/ – Year 1 (2009)
-Same as previous year. Most of my movie watching was what I owned still and DVDs from Netflix as their streaming options were not as robust at this point. Plus, I had a different blog where I documented most of my watching and that all has been deleted.
http://www.imdb.com/list/xy6hFMMNtIA/ – Year 2 (2010)
-I started to get much better about documenting what I was watching. Not to mention, Netflix started acquiring rights to a greater selection of movies for streaming. This is the year that things really took off for me.
http://www.imdb.com/list/w4_nnHxt9qE/– Year 3 (2011)
-This is the year that I discovered the Vincent Price movie catalog on Netflix streaming. Think I am lying? 10 of the 49 (20%) of the movies I watched this year starred Price. I am pretty sure this was the year that Michael Jackson’s Thriller album got caught in my car CD player for a couple months, so I was listening to Price every where I went.
http://www.imdb.com/list/WiBmCiRsI68/ – Year 4 (2012)
-Definitely a mixed bag this year. Almost everything came directly from Netflix streaming which contributed to the wide range of genres within horror.
Prior to documenting my watching on imdb.com, I had a blog on blogspot.com where I would provide personal reviews (mainly years 2008-10). I deleted the site before saving the content, so they are “lost” forever in the cabley wireness that is the internet. I am hoping to bring a bit of that back this year in short posts and updates. Most reviews will be between 6 and 12 words.
