Sustainable…

Too long for a tweet, so I am coming here instead.  I just came from a budget training workshop where we were provided with 70 pages worth of materials.  There were 30 of us in the room.  This is 1 of 3 scheduled sessions.  Our session alone used over 4 reams of paper. There are 8333 sheets of paper in a tree.  These three sessions alone are killing a tree.

WHY THE HELL DID YOU NOT PRINT ON THE FRONT AND BACK?  WHY THE HELL WERE WE PROVIDED WITH A COPY OF SLIDES WHEN THE PRESENTER WENT THROUGH THE ENTIRE PACKET IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES.  NOT TOO MENTION, THE SLIDES WERE 3 TO A PAGE WITH A SPACE TO TAKE NOTES.  WE CAN’T TAKE NOTES IF YOU FLIP THROUGH EACH SLIDE IN LESS THAN 10 SECONDS.

WE ARE TRAINING USING A COMPUTER, ASK US TO PULL THE MANUAL UP ON THE SCREEN AND WE CAN LOOK AT IT USING A SPLIT SCREEN FEATURE.  THEN WE KNOW HOW TO ACCESS IT AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

LASTLY, YOU CANNOT CLAIM TO BE A SUSTAINABLE CAMPUS WHEN YOU DO STUPID SH*T LIKE THIS AND WASTE RESOURCES SO BLATANTLY.

If you have a PC and run Windows 7.0 or higher, hold the window icon on the keyboard and hit the left or right arrow key and it will minimized the window and lock it in place on that side.
